The Mint Imperials are a 3-piece band fronted by seasoned guitarist/songwriter Adam Levy, with bassist Andy Hess and drummer Tony Mason. They’ve been making music together since 2006, when they formed to record Levy’s album ‘Washing Day.’ Their shows at Banjo Jim’s (an East Village bar, now closed) were shut down by NYPD multiple times, due to reports of illicit dancing.
