Adam Narimatsu

With a mix of jazz, classical, contemporary, and an unwavering passionate energy from start to finish, Adam Narimatsu is a premiere jazz pianist in NYC.

Born and raised just outside of Annapolis, MD, Adam has been gigging professionally since 2011. While almost entirely self-taught on the piano, he studied guitar and some keyboard under Peabody graduate Bryan Pallett, and had a year of instruction under jazz pianist Stef Scaggiarri. His earliest influences included any sort of boogie woogie, George Winston, and James Booker, but, as he immersed himself more into jazz, the influences grew to include the likes of Oscar Peterson, Erroll Garner, Bill Evans, and Cory Henry.

Since then, he has played dozens of event fundraisers, private cocktail hours, weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, birthdays, and corporate parties. In 2013, he worked on piano arrangements for the Kennedy Center’s production of “Violet,” and served as leader, arranger, and director of the 13 piece Rock and Roll Revival Band from 2013-2015. Since moving to New York in 2016, he's performed at many of the local clubs and performed at private events for Sotheby's, Mini Cooper, The Library, and more.

He has also become heavily involved with the music-based nonprofit Sing for Hope, for whom he is an Artist Ambassador and runs the weekly showcase at the Port Authority Performance Stage every Wednesday.

Adam brings a wide variety of styles, experience, and enthusiasm to every gig he plays, from the first note to the last.
