AERI
AERI is a Korean-American singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn. In her debut EP, she shares her raw and unrefined coming-in story—a journey through grief, shame and desire that ultimately led her to herself.
With vulnerability, defiance and an ambient, indie-pop atmosphere, AERI’s work aims to foster healing and expose inner dialogues often invisible or silenced—particularly within the queer, femme, asian body.
AERI is featured on “Ones to Watch” and Them’s “Best new songs by Queer artists”.
onu blu
onu blu is a queer experimental musician born in South Korea and based in California. Fusing the earnest elements of folk with left-field explorations of ambient electronics, glitches, and dreamy guitar/vocal loops, onu blu finds pockets of stillness in the push and pull of moving sonic elements. Their debut EP 'peeled'—released last year—explores themes of transitory states and the beauty found in surrendering to the unknowable movement of each moment. onu blu's music, in both live and studio settings, translates in much of the same way.
onu blu is also known for being one half of Koibito, a multi-instrumental electronic project that has toured across Europe and the Pacific Northwest.
onu blu's next solo EP, which weaves and orchestrates analog field recordings collected in everyday life, is slated for release in early 2022.
