NYC based musician Ajohntae imagines himself a scorned lover in an age of apathy.

a soft sensitive boy your mother would love because he always remembers to bring her flowers,

and someone your father would hate because he reminds him a little too much of himself in his younger years.

Ajohntae’s sonic palette is blending the influences that he’s grown up with;

the highspeed wailing distortion of pop punk that has teen angst smeared all over it,
with a solid balance of guitar driven indie, and sad boy ballads that scream youthful naivete .

In his music he tackles the always complicated relationship that every youth faces as they strive to come of age;
love and the lack thereof,

and searching for the next dopamine fix in all the wrong places.
