Collaboration has been the driving theme of Alana Amram’s life. She has been playing music with others since she was old enough to speak. Her family, all of which are musicians, instilled that working together was the key to survival in music, art and life.

“Performing with other artists is how I found my voice,” says Amram. This is evident in the tour and recording schedule she has maintained over the last two decades. A multi- instrumentalist, she has performed and recorded all over the world, sharing the stage with an eclectic variety of performers in museums, dive bars, cathedrals, outdoor festivals or house shows. She is slated to hit the road in March 2022 with UK group Vanishing Twin for a US and Canada tour playing bass.

Alana has gained a reputation for her ardent and straightforward songwriting. She has released critically acclaimed LPs ‘Painted Lady’ & ‘Spring River,’ various 7” singles. She ushered the tribute album ‘Snow Shadows: Songs of Vince Martin’, contributions by Van Dyke Parks, John Sebastian and the late Vince Martin.

After The Fall Record Label and Studios, was founded in 2021 by Alana & her sibling Adam to release music by family members and collaborators. They will be releasing Alana’s newest album ‘Movies’ in 2022, after the release of her father, David Amram’s first ever “lost recordings” ‘Live in Germany 1959- 2013.’

Amram has maintained a solid schedule performing and/or recording with Adam Amram, David Amram, Adira Amram, Seth Bogart, Hunx & His Punx, Habibi, Death Valley Girls, Shannon Shaw, CumGirl8, Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black, Gyda Gash, Lights, Motorgirl and many other artists.
