Bilge Günaydın

Bilge Günaydın is a Turkish jazz pianist and composer who lives in New York. She continues her master’s study with a full scholarship in jazz composition with Bill Charlap, Cecil Bridgewater and Peter Mcguinness at William Paterson University. She played her projects at Istanbul International Jazz Festival, Ankara Jazz Festival, Akbank Jazz Days, Sibiu Jazz Festival, NYC Composers Now Festival etc. Her debut album called “Daydreams” in quintet form was released by Turkish Label Ada Music and Japanese Label Inpartmaint digitally and as CD in 2020. All arrangements, compositions and productions belong to pianist Bilge Günaydın. This concert will be a celebration of her new album called “Sketches of Green” will be released at the end of April. Do not miss this special concert that is a great mixture of jazz, some Mediterranean inspirations, Turkish backgrounds of the pianist, modern music and lots of energy with a great orchestra including very talented musicians.
