Born and raised in New York City, in a musical family, Aria Lisslo was exposed to music before she could speak. She credits a family iPod filled with soul, hip-hop, classic rock, and Taylor Swift for discovering her love of music at such a young age. From forming a Joan Jett cover band at 6-years-old to getting a classical vocal music education at LaGuardia High School, her name is most certainly an aptronym.
After graduating in 2020, at 17-years-old, Aria released her debut single “Won’t U Be…” which earned support from MTV and a dedicated group of fans. In 2021, she released three more singles: “Whisky N Wine”, “Won’t Kill Me”, and “Bonnie”. Quickly garnering praise from BBC Radio 1, Mark Ronson, Spotify, Justin Hayward-Young (The Vaccines), Zane Lowe, and more.
All four singles have been completely self-produced, mixed, and mastered, landing her partnerships with companies such as Splice and XLN Audio.
With four songs behind her and a life-long career in front of her, the sky's the limit for Aria Lisslo. Stay tuned for upcoming projects and music.
