Bold Forbes
Bold Forbes is an acoustic trio based in New York City, made up of guitarist and lead vocalist Nick Bloom, bassist David Halpern, and violinist Reid Jenkins (also of Morningsiders). They create songs that evoke the majesty, sadness, and absurdity of millenial life in urban North America. Their sound has been described by the New York Times as "bouncy and earnest" with "palate-cleansing detours into both lyrical abstraction and dissonant instrumental noise."
