Butch Phelps & The Elevaters
Original, swampy Americana roots music, Butch's songs draw influence from across the country while maintaining an urgent NYC kick. At times country, bluesy and funky, but always from the soul.
In 2019 Butch released Elevaters,named for his live band that Elevates the music and energy at every performance. Previous recordings from Butch Phelps are 2018's Heavy Pour, 2012's Butch Phelps and the Buck Ups and writing and recording the music and lyrics to 2020's Christmas release, the Man in Red.
