Cactus Cosmonauts

Hailing from Brooklyn, the Cactus Cosmonauts blend late 60s and early 70s folk-rock harmonies fit for listening to around a campfire in the age of Woodstock. Their approach reflects their time in Nashville, California, and New York, drawing equal parts from Merle Haggard as from CSNY. Matt LiVigni and Lew Bibler have been playing music together since 2005 when they met in gym class. Their partnership in songwriting has resulted in the Cosmonauts’ sunny and mellow yet emotionally raw original sound.
