Philadelphia's Casual Fantastic creates original rock n roll, parlor pop, lounge punk, and Americana noir. Known for their humor and theatricality, the duo formed in 2019 and features songwriter Josh McIlvain on guitar and lead vocals with Nikitas Menotiades on stand up drums (suitcase for bass drum) and backing vocals. Their new album The Big Reveal was recently released (April 4, 2023) and serves 11 pop-infused songs of indie rock tied together by crafty songwriting, wit, and an upbeat, adventurous musicality.
