Cherch
Heralded in the New York Times, NPR: All Songs Considered and more as a multi-instrumentalist & songwriter: most of us know Cherch as the dynamic guitarist and frontperson of The Bottom Dollars.
Somewhere between Paul Westerberg and David Gilmour, Cherch’s weapon of choice is his Gibson Les Paul. Eloquent, electric and absolutely explosive: Cherch blurs the lines between alt punk and psychedelic rock with a sly intellect and a signature joie de vivre.
Also an esteemed producer, music director & curator, Cherch's presence has spread far across the zeitgeist — performing with artists such as Deathrow Tull, Matt Lange, Fiona Silver, and The 94 Knicks; working within institutions such as the Brooklyn Museum.
His latest single “The Untrained Eye” was engineered by Jeff Berner (Psychic TV, Shilpa Ray) and is available on all major digital retail platforms and streaming services.
“Cherch’s music goes something like this: it’s having a flask tucked, at all times, in the inside pocket of any coat that would ever be worn. It’s keeping that flask healthily full with something that coats. It’s feeling time get washed completely the fuck away. Its happiness and its sadness in equal measures” - Paste Magazine
