Chuck Ramsey
Chuck Ramsey is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter. He will be releasing his third full-length album, “Leave Them All Behind,” on December 8th.
“Leave Them All Behind” was recorded in New York City (Ramsey’s adopted hometown from 2011 to 2020), as well as in Ramsey’s actual hometown of Philadelphia. It comes on the heels of 5 non-album singles Ramsey released between 2018 and 2021, and his previous collections: 2012’s 5-song EP “Love Don’t Need to Feel Foreign”, 2009’s full-length “Good Morning & Good Night,” and 2005’s debut album “Something New.”
Ramsey’s music has drawn favorable comparisons to Ben Folds, Burt Bacharach, Harry Nilsson, and The Beatles, and has received airplay in the US and UK. The Big Takeover magazine praised his 2012 EP for its “keen melodic sense and lovingly-crafted pop.”
In addition to his own releases, Ramsey has co-written and released music with a wide range of artists, from hit songwriter/producer Wayne Wilkins (Beyonce, Natasha Bedingfield, Jordin Sparks), to LA-based rocker Paulie Z (ZO2, Sweet), to Czech singing star David Deyl.
Ramsey maintains a busy performing schedule of around 300 shows per year. Most recently, Ramsey has been performing regularly in Nashville’s famous Broadway bars. He has also performed in NYC (Rockwood Music Hall, The Cutting Room) and Los Angeles (The Whisky A Go Go, The Viper Room) and many other venues.
“Leave Them All Behind” was produced by Chuck Ramsey and engineered/mixed by Mike Abiuso at Behind the Curtains Media in Brooklyn and Drew Taurisano at Cambridge Sound Studios in Philadelphia. Upon its release on December 8th, it will be available worldwide on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, and all streaming/download sites.
