Circus Mind is a New York-based rock outfit and the brainchild of ringleader Mark Rechler. They are entering their twentieth year and are soon to release their third album Joy Machine, a delightful mashup of the retro sounds of ’70s rock and funk with N’awlins swamp rock mixed with late-Beatles pop. Circus Mind's current line-up includes Mark Rechler on Keys and Vocals, Chris Crosby on Bass, David Berg on Guitar, Steve Finkelstein on Percussion and Dan Roth on Drums. The band is able to daringly swing from jazzy grooves to reggae roots then shoot out of a canon into rock without missing a beat. Their last release “Silver Flower” was voted Best Indie Album of 2006 by Newsday and put a modern take on influences such as Traffic, Steely Dan, Little Feat, and Mott the Hoople while mixing in NoLa vibe influences like Dr. John, The Meters and The Neville Brothers. The last Circus Mind single “Jazzfest Time” was released one year ago as an ode to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Circus Mind is quite versatile and has opened for national acts (Toots & The Maytals, The Neville Brothers, The Radiators) and had many notable guests sit in on their recordings and live performances (Soulive, Rebirth Brass Band, Cyril Neville).

Craig Greenberg

WEBSITE   SPOTIFY

Craig Greenberg has been hailed as NYC’s most acclaimed post-millennial piano man. Over the past 15 years, the native New Yorker has been a staple on the city’s music scene, capturing and building on the spirited ivory traditions of greats like Billy Joel, Ben Folds and Randy Newman with sparkling, soulful new musical twists, a larger than life personality and his insightful, dramatic sense of storytelling.

Craig has independently released 4 albums (his most recent full length Phantom Life released in Dec 2020), and has performed upwards of 1000 shows, since his start playing in bars while living in Chile, and later Spain, in the early 2000s. His songs have received praise in American Songwriter, the Huffington Post, Relix Magazine, and have been played on radio stations all around the country and internationally (as well as locally on WFUV). In 2021, his song “Oh Caroline” placed in the semifinals of the International Song Competition. He has performed everywhere from Lincoln Center in New York, to Israel and Cambodia, and with esteemed musicians such as Jackson Browne, Chris Barron (Spin Doctors), Jane Wiedlin (the Go Go’s), Louise Goffin, and Jerry Joseph.

Craig is currently prepping a new EP for release in 2022.
