Clayton Joseph Scott

Clayton Joseph Scott was born on the Westside of Los Angeles in Venice Beach, California. He began his music career at the age of two when his father bought him a eukelele and the “Born in the USA” vinyl by Bruce Springsteen. The music of troubadours like Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and Bob Marley, served as the soundtracks of Clayton’s youth and from a young age, the art of story telling through song became an idea that would shape Clayton’s music to this day.

Clayton’s songs follow in the steps on the path of modern roots/rock performers like Michael Franti, Trevor Hall, Xavier Rudd, and, John Butler; to deliver a positive message, while invigorating audiences of all cultures to listen and dance with a purpose. His catalogue of original compositions range from deeply reflective soul/folk ballads to danceable world-beat arrangements that have won fans around the world!
