Celebrating Rockwood Music Hall’s 15-Year Anniversary!

Dan Mills

For over a decade, singer/songwriter Dan Mills has been winning over audiences with his dedication to the art of songwriting. Mills’ craft and creativity shine through in his thoughtful lyrics and poignant melodies.

Mills portrayed country-guitar legend Carl Perkins in the Broadway cast of Million Dollar Quartet and his song "Best I Could" earned him a nomination for Sirius XM Coffeehouse's “Singer/Songwriter Discovery of the Year". Mills’s 2017 release “Something Good” combined his knack for writing honest, lyric-driven folk songs with a raw Sun Records twang that seeped into his artistic voice while portraying Perkins. “Something Good” left Mills with over a million streams on Spotify, and a #49 spot on the AMA radio chart.

Mills is currently celebrating the release of his latest EP, produced by Sam Kassirer (Josh Ritter, Lake Street Dive). “Small Talk and Saturdays” is an intimate return to the listening rooms where Mills got his start.

Adam Day

This kid - he’s right off the farm, or maybe picked up from the side of the road, dirty hair and unshaven, mouth like a sailor, and manners like a distinguished gentleman. He can talk to you on anything from yesterday’s hangover to 20th century literary figures. He’ll tell you stories that will bust your gut laughing so hard, and others that will shut you up and make you wonder where this kid is from. You listen to him, you think about where you grew up, who you’ve loved, who you might find, or where you might end up. You’re sad, excited, and can’t stop smiling all at once.

This is 27 year-old Adam Day, hailing from Brooklyn, NY with a guitar in-hand and a story on his breath. In the vein of James Taylor, Ray Lamontagne, and John Mayer, Day has been stunning audiences with meticulously crafted songs and stories about the complexities of the human experience.

In every town that he resides, this quirky, at-times-awkward, and lovable fellow garners local celebrity and is loved by those with an appreciation for well-written and melodic folk rock tunes.

Billy Woodward
