Dan Saulpaugh
NYC-based singer-songwriter Dan Saulpaugh defies genre, imbuing his modern folk songs with a deep love of jazz and classical guitar music. Saulpaugh sings about the sublime moments that lurk in the mundane and about finding one’s place in love and the world. His lyrics, like his music, are as complex as they are playful. Dan muses on the understated parts of life that succeed youth’s defining moments. His compositions are reminiscent of Jeff Buckley, Becca Stevens, and Theo Katzman; delicate and precise with a deep sense of group interplay. The effect is emotionally nuanced and totally effortless to listen to.

Splitting her time between Minneapolis and New Orleans, Elyse has learned the genres of funk from the freezing tight pocket of the north to the laid-back swamp in the south. Motivated by social justice and inspired by the beauty of nature, her music ranges from upbeat jams to meditative chants.
