David Ayscue

David Ayscue is an LA-based singer/songwriter and recent graduate of the University of Southern California. His songs describe the loves, characters, anxieties and adventures that have colored his journey thus far with a poetic vividness that takes much inspiration from the early works of Bruce Springsteen. Other musical influences include artists like John Mayer, the Avett Brothers, and the Dave Matthews Band.

Ayscue gigs frequently throughout the Los Angeles area—often solo, and often backed by a band of fellow USC music school grads including saxophonist Matt Richards, drummer Zev Shearn-Nance, and bassist Michael Blasky. He released his debut album Southwood Waltz in April 2019.
