March 25th, 2023 7pm Stage 2
Debacle
Debacle is a group of musicians that have been making music and blending genres for
over seven years. They got their start in New Jersey’s ska-punk scene, and have shifted
their musical stylings to encompass a wider range of genres, including funk, jazz, and
pop, while staying true to their distinct sound.
After the release of their debut EP One 7-8, which was their former band name, Debacle
saw themselves selling out historic venues and having their music played on radio
stations around the world, all while they were teenagers. Debacle quickly garnered a
formidable reputation for their powerful choruses and meaningful lyrics.
March 25th marks the release of their first full-length, self-titled album, all of which was
recorded, produced, and engineered in their childhood homes. Leading up to the release
of the album, Debacle released two singles (“Flashing Lights” and “Alright”), which
received rave reviews from all over the world. Debacle’s live shows are not ones to be
missed with each member bringing their own special flare to the stage. The band is
made up of Dylan Balsamo (vocals/keys), Dan Gardner (lead guitar), Brendon Gardner
(bass), Marc Norton (drums), Andrew Marden (saxophone/keys), and Alan Norton
(trombone/rhythm guitar).
