Margot & The Midnight Tenants, Emily Jeanne Brown

May 4th, 2022 8:30pm   Stage 2

Emily Jeanne Brown

A self-identified "singer-storyteller", Emily Jeanne Brown has found deep expression through singing since early childhood. Growing up in northern California to Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, Patty Griffin, Iris Dement and Lucinda Williams, her sound draws from the Laurel Canyon folk of the 1970s peppered with Brooklyn indie-folk grit. Both intimate and cerebral, Emily's songs explore themes of catharsis, confronting the inner child, and the power of place to shape memory.
Her debut EP, 'Nina' will be released later this year.

Margot & The Midnight Tenants

Margot & The Midnight Tenants is an alternative pop-rock band led by singer-songwriter, Margot Bennett. Known for their whimsical music videos and upbeat shows, the band is made up of a bunch of friends who galavant around Brooklyn together. The band’s lush arrangements pack a punch with Daniel Bloch on drums, Omer Berger on rhythm guitar, Noga Davidson on bass, Micha Gilad on keys, and Idan Morim on lead guitar. Their formal training be-damned, Margot &
The Midnight Tenants threw out the rule book and are here to have a good time.
