Estos Gritos

Vocalist José Miguel López and bassist Alvaro Benavides were childhood friends who grew up together in Caracas, Venezuela. They formed Estos Gritos in New York with drummer Stephen Moses (of the iconic Alice Donut) and Guitarist Chris Stromquist of the bands Slavic Soul Party! and Kultur Shock. The result is a garage and punk influenced rock sound that harks back to the 80s/90s golden decades of Latin American "Rock-en-Español" and Argentinian "Rock Nacional"
