Big Stuff
Queens-based band Big Stuff pushes the boundaries of contemporary pop music with their lyrical and soul-infused sound.
Their debut EP Call It Nostalgia was released in October 2020. The project served as an introduction to the group and their laid-back aesthetic. With an acute attention to lyrical detail and harmonic movement, Call It Nostalgia set the tone for the rest of Big Stuff’s discography. In collaboration with NYU’s Village Records, Big Stuff added a bit more vocal power with Can’t Sleep, a captivating and soulful tune, mixed and mastered by Grammy-award winning engineer JC Losada. Following close behind was the group’s fan favorite single, Overtime.
Over the past year, the 8-piece band has played throughout NYC and around the East Coast. Their latest singles “Bloom” and “Only Thing” are a defining and refining of the Big Stuff sound. “Bloom” was featured on Spotify’s Retro-Pop Editorial Playlist.
