Hands First

Hands First is a Brooklyn-based band that infuses the propulsive rhythms and errant guitars of post punk with a new level of ferocity. Anchored by vocalist Camden Phalen’s raucous melodies and compelling ruminations, what started as a loose collection of friends-of-friends playing music has solidified into a tight-knit vessel bringing high-energy performances to basements and rooftops across New York. Their debut EP is out now on Bandcamp, with a follow-up due later this fall.
