Healer Twins

Healer Twins are a musical duo from the country Georgia. Having travelled and growing up in numerous parts of the world, twin sisters Liana and Thea Shengelaia discovered their passion and talent for singing from the age of 9 years old, organizing small gigs in their neighborhood.
The twins later went on to graduate from medical university and work as junior doctors in Dubai, UAE. Combining their long-standing interest in the therapeutic effects of music on the brain, they decided to integrate their occupation and passion to form “Healer Twins” in 2012.
Having performed in multiple countries, the twins often returned to their "home away from home" in Dubai to perform intimate shows at venues such as The Fridge, Dubai Opera, The Music Roomm Fete De La Musique, DIFC Arts Night, Freshly Ground Sounds, SIKKA art fair and Gulf Music Festival.

They released their self-titled debut album. The album has elements of classical and modern music to create a baroque pop’ and fusion genres. They moved to London for studies in 2016 and lived and performed in many well-known venues for 2 years, O2 Academy, Rich Mix London, Youtube HQ, Finborough Arms.
