As of June 16, 2021, New York State has lifted all COVID-19 related restrictions that apply to a venue of Rockwood’s size. In accordance with these revised guidelines, vaccination records will no longer be checked, nor will social distancing or masks be required, while masks will remain highly recommended for non-vaccinated individuals.

New York based Singer-Songwriter Hillary Capps combines thoughtful lyricism with clean, soaring vocals and catchy melodies - captivating audiences with her alluring alternative pop songs.

Hillary Capps released her sophomore full-length album October 16th, 2020 via Villainy Records. The record is a collection of songs about finding balance and searching for a sense of home. Leading up to the full-length the artist released several songs on the album in real time with the 2020 moon phases, as well as a music video for the single "Unfold Me".

Impose Magazine dubbed Capps’ songs “hauntingly melodic” while Baeble Music described her vocals as “delicate enough to calm a hurricane”. Capps’ single “Magic” was placed on numerous official Spotify Playlists including “Chill Vibes” and “Fresh Finds: Hiptronix”. The singer/songwriter has also garnered attention from The Deli, Hype Machine and American Songwriter as well as hundreds of college radio stations across the US.

Hillary Capps has performed locally and nationally at venues such as The Knitting Factory, Webster Hall, Rough Trade, Rockwood Music Hall, Mercury Lounge, National Sawdust, The Hotel Cafe and the Manderley Bar (Sleep No More). She has showcased at festivals including SXSW, CMJ and NORTHSIDE as well as directly supporting internationally touring acts including Lola Marsh, Judith Hill and The Coronas.

This year Capps follows up her full-length album with a new single, "Nobody Told Me" about the issues and stigmas within women's health care.
