Iona Fyfe

Here is an opportunity to hear Iona sing songs handed down through traditional singing families and performed by "one of the most stunning voices on the circuit today.” Iona graduated with honors from the Royal Conservatoire of Glasgow and the London College of music, and has been winning awards for her singing since she was a teen, only a few years ago. She has performed in festivals and halls in the UK, Europe, Australia, and Canada, and she performed in the premiere of Disney’s “Brave” in Glasgow, plus she has been a Folk Alliance Official International Showcase performer for a couple of years. She was also invited to do a concert for the Library of Congress’s Homegrown concert Series, and along with performing and winning awards for it, Iona is a fierce defender of the Scots language, and persuaded the music giant Spotify to add it to their lists.
