Jack O'Neill

The son of an army paratrooper, Jack grew up in army towns across the American south and has called New York City his home for 20 years. A founding member of the seminal Texas folk-rock band Jackopierce, Jack is celebrating the re-release of his “lost” solo album “Halfway Round the World” produced by Doug Derryberry (Bruce Hornsby, Mandy Moore).

His music lives at the confluence of Americana, alternative, and indie folk. Cinematic and sparse, part garage-rock and bedroom confessional, Jack is an artist in search of simple, universal truth.

An actor and songwriter, Jack has worked with T-Bone Burnett, Rob Thomas, Alanis Morissette, Sheryl Crow, Butch Walker, Lyle Lovett, Dave Matthews, Vertical Horizon, Jack Ingram, Drew Holcombe, Anderson East, Nick Ley of Flaming Lips and many others.
