Born in New York to a Dominican mother and Puerto rican father, whose voices were the soundtrack to her formative years. Graduating from Hunter College , City University of New York in Jazz and Political Science. Influenced by the musical richness of both cultures, her music is a blend of Latin, Jazz and Soul.
Jessica Medina broke language barriers with her previous single “Si tu te vas” alongside virtuoso cuatrista Jorge Glem. In this emblematic song by Juan Luis Guerra, approached from a totally new style.
