Jessie Davis
Jessie “DJ Nebraska” Davis is a Brooklyn based performing artist that can only be described as a one-woman CabaRave. Be it behind turntables, a microphone, or a table covered in synthesizers and loop machines, Davis ignites a fire in her audience with her powerful energy. Jessie aka DJ Nebraska has spent the past 3 years touring extensively throughout the US, Europe, and Latin America. From Best Buy Theater in NYC, to Untold festival in Romania, to headlining LoopFest in Oregon, Davis brings the heat from the NYC underground to stages and dance floors all around the world. Her list of collaborators reads like a high school crush and includes Grammy award winner Louis Cato, Roots crew member Ray Angry, and hip hop pioneer Rob Swift. Her music has appeared in TV and film including CSI LA and the George Lopez special on HBO. Most recently she was selected by the state department to serve as a hip hop ambassador in Mexico and developing countries around the world. Davis is currently in production on her fourth recording project, “Notes From The Road.” A self-produced album that explores love, loss, healing, and self actualization. The album will be preceded by two singles at the top of 2020. Starting with a re-work of Twice, originally performed by Little Dragon, and followed by Oh Darlin, written and produced by Jessie Davis. Davis also makes her directorial debut in the music video of Oh Darlin set to release February 7, 2020.
