Joy Askew

Joy Askew came to NYC from England in the early ’80’s and had
an embellished past playing in the bands of musical icons such as
Peter Gabriel, Laurie Anderson, Jack Bruce and Joe Jackson. Now,
after label and indie record releases and collaboration with
publishers including Quincy Jones, as a re-invented musical poet,
she has released her 10th solo album, “Everything Is Different.”
She currently heads up a 4 piece band of Luca Benedetti, Guitar,
Andy Hess or Rob Jost, Bass, and Tony Mason ,Drums.
