Jubany
Jubany is one of the most celebrated artists from Rosario, Argentina of recent decades. He released two albums, La Espera (2014) and El Futuro (2016), considered masterpieces of his generation and his city, while in 2020 he premiered on the 5RTV channel Cómo Se Hace El Rock, the first biographical docuseries of the genre in Argentina. In 2017 he was summoned by Fito Páez to perform an emotional version for piano and voice of Loving The Alien by David Bowie at the Teatro Fundación Astengo, while in 2018 they shared the stage again, premiering the song La Mujer Torso at the Salón Metropolitano. Between 2014 and 2015 he presented his album La Espera in Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Montevideo, Barcelona, Madrid and Paris.
Owner of an overwhelming charisma on stage and an irresistible sensitivity as an author of pop songs, Jubany is a unique artist who, with an inclination for a kind of new classicism, is emerging as one of the fundamental voices in Argentine rock of the 21st century. The comprehensive formula of his proposal draws on glam rock, chamber pop and author songs, and is manifested in albums, shows and video clips through his deep and histrionic voice accompanied by a dynamic and imposing rock band. The result is a seductive net of rock guitars and orchestral touches over memorable choruses.
