Daniel Vezoja

Daniel Vezoja is a singer-songwriter from Slovenia. After his ex-band TrainStation broke up he fully devoted himself to his first love – songwriting. The first time he performed solo acoustic in public was at an open mic in Dublin. Motivated by the positive feedback he kept returning to Dublin to play and learn more. Following a series of lucky coincidences, he came across a renowned Dublin producer and singer-songwriter Gavin Glass with whom he recorded his debut solo album Where the Light Resides, released in December 2016. The album was well received by the critics and made it to several Slovenian best album of the year lists.

The album was announced by 2 singles: I Hope the Wind Knows (feat. Joanna Marie) and Suzanna Smiling. Since the release of his first single in November 2015 Daniel has been mostly focused on performing live. He got to open for Lisa Hannigan, Damien Jurado, Lola Marsh, Chris Eckman and Dillon.
