Juno Lev

Juno Lev, who performed and created under the name Jackfruit until recently, briskly rose through the ranks of bedroom pop music and amassed a dedicated audience in their relatively short existence as an artist thanks to their intimate lyrics and distinct sound. Under the Jackfruit alias, Juno’s music, often reflecting on themes such as queer becomings and unrequited desire, has been streamed well over a million times across platforms since their first release in August 2020. In the past year, they have performed at venues including The Bowery Electric and Mercury Lounge, been featured in NPR Music, and recorded a sold out Leesta Vall session. They also somehow find time to be a full time college student. Juno Lev’s concerts are as vulnerable and tender as their music, and with a new name, evolving sound, and steadily growing listening base, this is just the beginning of what’s to come.
