Kate Douglas
Kate Douglas is a writer, composer and performer. Her work has been presented by The Met Cloisters, Ancram Opera House and The McKittrick Hotel and developed at New Victory Theater, SPACE on Ryder Farm, Rhinebeck Musicals, the Writer’s Colony at Goodspeed and the New Musicals Lab at the Ferguson Center. She is a three-time Women of Note at the New York Musical Festival. She is currently a member of the BMI Musical Theatre Writing Workshops and recently signed with Kobalt Music Publishing. Upcoming projects include The Lucky Few (concept album with Todd Almond), a tour of The Ninth Hour, her operetta with Shayfer James, and completing her horticulture certificate with the New York Botanical Garden.
