Kate Fenner

Kate Fenner is a singer and songwriter. Her new album, Middle Voice, will be released in October 2017.

Middle Voice was recorded beginning in October 2015, at Tony Scherr's 8-track studio in Brooklyn, NY. It underwent a few stops and starts, while other pressing life-matters intruded. We returned to it in earnest in January 2017. Many great musicians contributed to the tracks--Bill Frisell, Jason Moran, Norah Jones, Chris Brown, Kenny Wolleson, Shawn Pelton, Mauro Refosco, Mino Cinelu, Steven Bernstein, Briggan Krauss, Brian Drye, Rob Jost and Teddy Kumpel. Ted also assisted with the mixing in his studio in Brooklyn. Gene Paul mastered it.
