Life Inc

LIFE INC is a psychedelic pop band full of ironic joie de vivre and luxurious sounds. It is helmed by Gianluca Girard and Julian Picado, New York-based musicians from São Paulo, Brazil and San José, Costa Rica respectively. 
 After two arduous years of preparation, the group is currently in the process of releasing their debut album. The band’s sound is a meticulously crafted combination of the freedom and mastery of expression in the Lower Manhattan jazz scene, the DIY aesthetic of the Brooklyn indie pop scene, and the tropical lifestyle of their home countries. The result is an exquisite blend of very mellow grooves and lavish soundscapes (considered by some to be reminiscent of 70’s and 80’s pop music) that explores short exciting songs with profound pop structures. 
 Everybody Else is Dead is LIFE INC’s first single release. The songs showcase the band’s tart humor and luscious sounds. Vocalist Stefano Wirth’s soothing voice tells an apocalyptic love-story while the music surrounds him with velvety undertones and hypnotic groove capable of waking the dead. The b-side Upper East Side is the soundtrack to your stroll around the aforementioned side of Manhattan; with bubbly keyboards, chorus guitars and creamy saxophones the song exudes the feeling of the high-life.
