Lucid Lip
LUCID LIP brings together elements of multiple decade-spanning genres into a sound they call Alternative Rock and Soul. Frankie Favasuli’s vocals are smokey and smooth, with energetic and raspy high points reminiscent of singers like Otis Redding, Sam Cooke and Wilson Pickett. The strong vocals float over crisp, tight grooves from the rhythm section; consisting of Brendan McGuckin on drums and Pat Cochrane on bass. Add in the sensationally powerful guitar by Diego Cebollero, along with some heavy synthesizers and a wall of melodic harmonies, and you have the melting pot of vibe and sound that is LUCID LIP
Together, this highly versatile group of lifelong musicians brings a high energy performance to any stage. Having been in New York City for over a decade, they have played such venues as Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, DROM, Arlenes Grocery and many more.
