On the heels of her debut album THERAPY (available wherever music is streamed), Madge returns to Rockwood to ring in her birthday with a set entitled JESUS YEAR. In celebration of their 33rd trip around the sun (Son?), the beginning of Virgo season, and summer’s end, Madge and her band will serve you favorite tunes from the album, new covers, new songs hot off the presses, and a few holy ghost surprises.

Madge Dietrich (she/they) is an artist, advocate and gifted weirdo based in Queens. Madge spent the last decade performing in theatres, concerts, and cabarets across the globe, most notably in the first national tour of Kinky Boots and as a frequent soloist at Middle Collegiate Church. She is now celebrating the release of her debut album, THERAPY. Crowdfunded with nearly 100 donors, this genre-hopping album explores Madge’s breadth as an emerging songwriter and reflects on the emotional roller-coaster of seeking love, connection, and belonging as a queer human. The title is also a nod to the cathartic act of creation and their new career path as a future music therapist, currently completing their second bachelor’s degree at Slippery Rock University.
