Marta Cascales Alimbau

Marta Cascales Alimbau is a pianist and composer from Barcelona who creates music with classical roots and a contemporary, minimalistic and poetic touch. She is one of the rising starts of the modern classical scene.

Her discography includes her debut EP ‘Light-House’ (2018) and ‘Anoche’ LP (2020) as well as multiple single releases with the New York based label Sonder House. Marta's latest piano composition has found its place in the official album compilation ‘Piano Day Vol 2’ (2023) - including works by artists like Yann Tiersen and released via Nils Frahm's Berlin label LEITER. Recently, the legendary label Deutsche Grammophon has invited Marta to work on a new thrilling project to be revealed in 2024.

The artist has performed at notable festivals such as Trans Musicales (FR), Piano City Milano (IT), Kosmoskonzerte (GR) - among many others - and this will be her first show in New York City.
Marta’s live performances take the audience on a journey and some describe it like a balm for the ears.
