Matt Lomeo

"Matt Lomeo (vocals/harmonica) began his career as the youngest artist ever invited to perform at a Woodstock Festival, aged ten in 1999. After graduating from CUNY Hunter College, Matt took to the airwaves as host of the historic Sunday Night Blues on WAER Syracuse, 88.3 FM. He then followed his harp to Memphis, TN, holding down a two-year residency at Club Handy on World-Famous Beale Street. After moving to Los Angeles, CA in the spring of 2018, he became host of the premier roots music session in Southern California, the Tuesday night jam at Ireland's 32 Pub. Lomeo's truest voice is articulated through his songs. His first all-original album, When You Call, produced by Grammy-nominee Terry Wilson, was released in summer 2022 to international acclaim. In 2023, Matt and his band reached the semifinal round of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN, placing among the top 27 bands to compete worldwide. 2023 also saw the release of The Voices EP by Angela Petrilli & The Players, of which Matt is a full-time member on harmonica. During the week, he teaches Blues and Roots vocal styles to undergrads at the Los Angeles College of Music. Matt is currently at work on his second all-original full-length."
