Memória de Peixe

Memória de Peixe is currently Miguel Nicolau (guitar and pedals), Pedro Melo Alves (drums) and Filipe Louro (bass). Their self-titled debut album came out in 2012, released by Lovers & Lollypops, considered one of the best Portuguese albums of the year, reaching number one on the national radio. They toured worldwide in festivals like Primavera Sound, Liverpool Sound City, Coquetel Molotov (Brazil), Eurosonic (Netherlands), Nilüfer Müzik Festivali (Turkey) getting international attention with very positive reviews. In 2016 they released their second album "Himiko Cloud” with Marco Franco on drums, also having excellent reactions on International press. Known for their energetic and unpredictable live acts, creating a modern jazz rock dialogue with improvisations within, they were featured on BBC6 by Hew Stephens, The Line of The Best Fit (UK), Les Inrockuptibles (France), Rolling Stone (Brazil) and Público (Portugal)
