Mick Lynch


Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Mick Lynch is the co-founding member of the Irish band The Guggenheim Grotto.
The band released three studio albums, with their debut Waltzing Alone, from 2005, garnering critical acclaim in the US, with Nic Harcourt of LA’s KCRW calling it “One of the most beautiful albums of the year”.

Steve Jobs took such a liking to the opening track Philosophia that he made it iTunes single of the week and featured the track on all demo models of the newly released iPhone.

Tracks from their three albums have featured on numerous TV shows including One Tree Hill, Brothers and Sisters, Eli Stone and Pretty Little Liars.

Changing their name in 2012 to Storyman, the band released This Time Round, to further critical acclaim.
The band have toured extensively in the US and Ireland, opening for such artists as Ani DiFranco, They Might Be Giants, Ingrid Michaelson, The Frames, The Waterboys and Patti Griffin.

In 2014, Mick moved to upstate NY and released his solo debut album Aliens, Ghosts and Lovers.

Mick has continued to write and record new material, with his latest single Lawrence of Arabia available on all platforms.
