Born in Sweden, raised in Belgium & a frequent attendee of European nightlife, Mikaela Stenmo’s sound is undeniably influenced by crying in the club. Juxtaposing sweetly sung, addictive pop melodies with production that showcases her roots in techno and deep house, Stenmo delivers songs that tell the reality of numbing, loving and fumbling through your 20 somethings.
Creating a sonic environment traceable to the influences of Phoebe Bridgers, Bon Iver, and Ethel Cain, New York’s Noor Hila, illustrates her stories through vulnerable lyrics. Inviting you to an acoustic side of alternative pop, Hila’s personable writing chants resonance and relatability. Noor is currently a student at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, where she is devoting her time to collaborating with peers and developing her sound.
