Minaxi

Minaxi are an alternative rock band from Brooklyn. Consisting of songwriters Shrenik Ganatra and Liam Christian, and drummer Steve Carlin, Minaxi's sound combines elements from classical, pop and rock music from India and Pakistan with psychedelia, shoegazing, dream pop, noise rock and electronica.

Minaxi has self-released over 30 songs via several EPs, singles and a studio album. The band is set to release their second studio album, Lazuleen on June 10, 2022. It features collaborations with Minaxi's friends, the legendary dhol player, percussionist and composer Sunny Jain and Slowdive's Simon Scott.
