Composed of long time veterans of New York City’s live music scene, NIGHT OF THE LIVING FUNK is a balls to the wall Funk ensemble conceived by brothers Jon and Chris Lijoi. NOTLF mixes old school, face melting funk with modern sensibility. Drawing influence from masters young and old such as Parliament/Funkadelic, Sly Stone, Lettuce, Galactic and The Motet. A vibrant mix of funk standards, improvised jams and funked out versions of your favorite top hits, NOTLF has developed a sound all its own. Never forget…the brass shall always be brought!!
