Indie-rock outfit “nIMO & The Light”, led by Nimo Kally, has released their music video “Skin to skin” in August 2018. The music video, with its extravagant after effects, was directed by Jonathan Pasternak (Kfir ben-laish, Silver & Grace), and gained international recognition with the respectful “audience choice runner up” award on “Great Lakes International Film Festival” in 2018.

The band & video were premiered on the music magazine “Vents magazine”, got reviewed on “Kill the music” “Electrowow” and received an interview on “Essentially pop”.

“Skin to skin” was premiered on one of the most popular radio shows in Tel Aviv (“Taicher & Zarahovitch” 102fm).

“…Nimo & The Light makes absolutely lovely music filled with lush backdrops and incandescent guitars with a luminescent sound that will make your heart sing. Traverse through these soundscapes, a terrain abundant with a mellow and laid-back rapturous feel that is something great to relax to and kick back with…” (The Celebrity Cafe magazine 05/2019)

“…It’s difficult to incorporate artist influences into your music without them overtaking completely: you need that perfect balance. Good bands are able to juggle this fine line without a problem, and Nimo & The Light’s new record Don’t Feed The Pigeons manages to perform this task admirably… to make the sound unmistakably theirs..” (Vinyl Chapters Magazine 05/2019)

In April they released their debut album “Don’t feed the pigeons” produced by Nimo Kally. The album is available on any digital platform and distributed by “Distrokid”.

Nimo & The Light will play their album release show @Rockwood Musichall Nyc on 6/5/19 @10PM.

On march 2018 the band participated in City Winery’s acclaimed tv series “One on One”, to perform a special live set.

Since it was founded, the band stayed passionate and true to its musical choices, ranging from indie pop to alternative rock sounds, and spreading the word for international connectivity, drawing inspiration from iconic greats such as David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, The Cure, Depeche Mode.
