Ourglass
Through meeting each other at Manhattan School of Music, Mel, a classical vocalist, and Matt, a jazz pianist, formed a great musical bond. Together, the musicians share a love of all genres and collaborate to create new musical ideas. Mel and Matt's band, Ourglass, was formed during their college years, and they have performed their original music at various venues throughout NYC, Philly, and NJ. In 2020, they released their first EP, which you can find on all streaming platforms. Ourglass pulls from a variety of musical influences such as jazz, classical, and folk. Their music and songs reflect what it is to live in the modern day as part of the new generation, outlining the beauties and relevance of art, love, unity, conflict, and growth.
