PASQUA
Singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer, PASQUA, creates calmly progressive, polyphonic, and metronomic music with elements of electronic, folk, jazz, worldbeat, and avante-rock. Versatile in his approach and inspiration, the multi-hyphenate creative has brought his unique voice in shaping critically lauded music supported by the likes of Complex and The FADER. His production and arrangements have also achieved nods from Annie Mac’s BBC6, KCRW, and EBRO at Apple Beats 1, amongst others. A South Brooklyn native based in New York City, he’s amassed a catalogue written and recorded since the early 2010s. As an ever evolving pluralist and also as one who has worked in the music industry as a manager and A&R rep for multi-platinum selling artists, his aim is one of freedom and fluidity in music. By way of his solo endeavor and with a series of singles and a new EP slated for 2022, PASQUA continues to blur lines and sides of the proverbial glass. Textures of harmonically charged guitars, electro-acoustic milieus, flowing low end, and hypnotic beats showcase the artist’s strengths as a contemporary musician and producer with a heartbeat for anachronism, to recreate the feel and days when musicians getting together in one room to make a record wasn’t a novelty but necessity.
