Born in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, Phil Faconti grew up around music and started his career playing guitar at an early age. His interest in songwriting and impeccable talent earned him a spot in the Classical Conservatory at Brooklyn College class of 2013. As a student, he focused on classical guitar as well as musical arrangement and orchestration.

He then went on to teach music for 2 years before turning his focus full time on the multiple bands he performs, arranges, and records with on a regular basis. Since then, Phil has worked closely with artists such as Norah Jones, ZAYN, Foreigner, Five For Fighting, Amy Lee, A Great Big World, The Hot Sardines, Amber Rubarth, Heather Maloney and many more.

Phil also has also presence in Appalachia, working with Dave Eggar and Chuck Palmer on various projects ranging from college master classes to Theater productions at the Historic Barter Theatre in Abingdon, VA. Phil was also Musical Director for the Pearl Theatre’s production of “A Taste of Honey” by Shelagh Delaney, directed by Austin Pendleton (WSJ’s 2016 Director of the year)
