Philip Labes
Some people emerged from the stay-at-home orders with a plant collection, others with a six-pack. Philip Labes emerged with songs capturing some of the chaos, loss, and humor of the last eighteen months. Philip continues the storytelling tradition of artists like Paul Simon, with the delicate tenor and somber lyricism of Sufjan Stevens. Philip gained quick viral fame on TikTok, where he was spotted by Jason Mraz and invited to open his North American tour.
Caitlin Mahoney
Caitlin Mahoney is an independent NYC-based singer-songwriter whose voice has been praised as “powerful and soulful - a mix of Adele and Fiona Apple.” Her latest album release for “story still left to be told” highlights and celebrates other femme creatives in addition to herself, featuring collaborations with femme music video directors, graphic designers, photographers, and visual artists. Her music has been featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, ABC Family's The Fosters, and in Starbucks stores nationwide.
Olivia Klugman
Part of the new wave of contemporary folk singers, Olivia Klugman is an independent singer/songwriter with a rare, vocal gift. Self-styled after genre icons like Joni Mitchell and Brandi Carlile, Olivia is known for their beautiful tone and vividly honest storytelling. Her sound is reminiscent of the Golden Age of American Folk Music, but with a uniquely modern, lyrical sensibility.
